    Day 1 – Delhi – Nainital

      Arrive in Delhi and proceed to Nainital, the beautiful lake district of Kumaon. Check in to your hotel and freshen up. The Kumaon hills are known for their idyllic beauty – mountains silhouetted against the sky, streams rippling through the silence of forests, and placid lakes reflecting the changing panorama of nature. In the evening, enjoy a boat ride on the famous lake and visit the local market for some shopping.

      Overnight stay in Nainital.

    Day 2 – Nainital

      After breakfast, the day is at leisure to explore the hill retreat of Nainital. Visit Mall Road, the Boating Club, take a cable car ride, walk along Thandi Sadak, and visit the lakes (Bhimtal, Sattal, Naukuchiatal, etc.). Blessed with scenic natural splendor and varied natural resources, Nainital has earned the epithet of the ‘Lake District’ of India. Later, return to the hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure.

    Day 3 – Nainital – Kausani

    • Meal : Breakfast

    • Drive to Kausani, situated at the height of 6,250 ft / 1,890 meters above sea level. It offers a spectacular 300 km wide view of the Himalayas and walks in the thickly wooded area. Check in to the hotel. In the evening, enjoy the serene beauty of this beautiful hilly resort, visiting tea gardens and grassy meadows of Kausani. If time permits, visit the 12th Century Baijnath Temple by the Gomti River and Bageshwar Temple.

    Day 4 – Kausani – Ranikhet – Corbett

      Early in the morning, witness the enchanting sunrise over the Himalayas – a rich experience that will remain in your memories for a lifetime. After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Corbett. Drive through the spectacularly changing vistas, climbing up close to the snow-capped peaks. Ranikhet, at 6,000 ft / 1,820 meters above sea level, is a serene and peaceful hill station foreshadowed by conifer forests and surrounded by snow-clad Himalayan ranges from the Bhagirathi peaks in the west to Nanda Kot in the east. Ranikhet also offers golfing at the 9-hole army course and is known for the orchards of Chaubatia and Jhoola Devi Temple. After sightseeing in Ranikhet, proceed to Corbett National Park. The park was named after Jim Corbett, the legendary hunter-naturalist turned author and photographer, who spent most of his life in this area and helped set up the park. Check in to the resort and enjoy recreational facilities at the resort.

    Day 5 – Corbett Safari & Delhi Departure

     

    Meal : Breakfast

    Early in the morning, enjoy a jeep safari (at an additional cost) inside the wildlife sanctuary for your tryst with the big cats. Elephants are also available for dense jungle safaris on a first-come, first-served basis. Those interested in angling can try hooking the mahseer fish for sport. Birding treks and horse safaris are also exciting options for enthusiasts.Return to the resort. After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Delhi for your onward journey.
