Naimisharanya Pilgrimage

Itinerary - 5 days

Here's your Trip

  • Start your day with a visit to Maa Lalita Devi Temple, one of the 108 Shakti Peethas. It’s said that the heart of Goddess Sati fell here. The temple radiates Shakti energy and draws devotees year-round.

  • Walk to Soot Gaddi, where Suta Maharishi narrated the Puranas to the assembled sages. This spot holds special importance for Vedic scholars.

  • Explore Pandav Qila, a lesser-known gem believed to be built by the Pandavas during their exile. It’s quiet and atmospheric, perfect for those looking for offbeat spiritual spots.

  • Conclude with a peaceful evening aarti at Gomati Ghat. Watch the lamps float down the river as chants echo through the forest.

  • Visit Dasashwamedh Ghat, where Lord Rama performed the ten-horse (Dashashwamedh) sacrifice. A powerful and peaceful spot for reflection and prayer.

  • Pay your respects at the Akshaya Vat, the eternal banyan tree said to grant wishes and witness the yugas (ages of time).

  • Before departure, visit the local market for holy items, gomati chakra stones, brass idols, and traditional sweets. You can also take home Ganga jal and sacred ash as prasad.
