Divine Escape to Chitrakoot

Itinerary - 5 days

Here's your Trip

After a peaceful breakfast, your day begins with a visit to the tranquil Sati Anusuya Ashram, a beautiful forest retreat linked to the legend of the sage Atri and his virtuous wife, Anusuya. Next, step into mystery at the Gupt Godavari Caves, where cool underground streams and narrow passageways echo with legends of Lord Ram’s divine presence. In the afternoon, climb to Hanuman Dhara, a sacred spot where a stream flows over the idol of Hanuman to cool him after his return from Lanka. This scenic and spiritual experience is both rejuvenating and awe-inspiring. Return in the evening for a hot dinner and overnight stay.

On your final day, enjoy a relaxed breakfast before checking out. Your last moments in Chitrakoot will be spent at two serene spots — Spatik Shila, where huge marble rocks bear impressions believed to be those of Lord Ram and Sita, and Janaki Kund, where Sita used to bathe during their exile. If time allows, you can explore the local bazaar for spiritual souvenirs and prasad. With a heart full of peace and blessings, it's time to head back — carrying Chitrakoot’s divine calm with you.
